Laundry_List.jpg
Laundry ListI played off a joke from the previous week's strip about Renee finding shoes at Saks. The whole scene was heartbreaking onscreen--I tried to add some levity to it.Feb 09, 2010
Loathe_in_an_Elevator.jpg
Loathe in an ElevatorThere was a brief moment in the episode this scene is based on that was just so awkward, I had to stretch it out to more than just a 20 second scene. It wasn't tension, just...one person not sure what to say to the other.Feb 09, 2010

Day 8 Intro Page 1Had a lot of fun putting this one together. Really loved how some of the inks turned out.Feb 09, 2010

Standard Regulation AttireAnother example where I could have done the gag for another 6-8 panels, if time permitted.Mar 09, 2009
Political_Games.jpg
Political GamesFor the record, I love the PS2 24: The Game. I think Day 7 of 24 would make for one heck of a game.Mar 09, 2009

Mr. Taylor's Day Out - Page 1So many injuries, so little time.Mar 09, 2009

Mr. Taylor's Day Out - Page 2If I had my way (and by that I mean time and patience), I would have kept the physical gags coming for another three pages.Mar 09, 2009

The Evolution of a TurncoatSometimes simple is just as effective to get a laugh.Mar 09, 2009
Watchless-men.jpg
Watch-lessmenThe advertising for the Watchmen film was ridiculously bad in Los Angeles. You literally couldn't go a block without running into a billboard, bus stop, cab or other signage that didn't have this overrated comic adaption plastered on it.Mar 09, 2009
The_Gold_and_Domes_Brotherhood.jpg
The Gold and Domes Secret SocietyThe title is a play off of the secret society "Skull and Bones". I watched the Good Shepherd the night before the Oscars, so the idea hit me.

But yes, the 81st Oscars was still a horrendous letdown.

Redemption Page 2Robert Carlyle is a pain in the neck to caricature-- Gil Bellows however, easy as pie.Jan 28, 2009
Redemption_Page_2.jpg
RedemptionThis was done in November 2008 alongside the airing of 24: Redemption.
Good movie-- set up Season 7 all the more now!

Evil_Cubby_Final.jpg
Black DeathI had the idea for this one ever since I knew last year Carlos Bernard, aka Tony Almeida was coming back to the show.

Granted, the gag ultimately turns out Tony's fighting the good fight, negating Evil Cubby from going completely to the dark side.

Lesson Spurned Page 1It's not easy making fake chats easily to look this good-- and cramming it full of in-jokes, references, and quotes. Jan 28, 2009
Chloe_Vs__Janice_Pg__2.jpg
Lessons Spurned - Page 2The funny thing about this strip is that it took two weeks to complete-- mostly because I thought up the last panel about 3 hours before I finished the comic. Jan 28, 2009

On the Front LineHuge WWII movie buff that I am, the idea all came from Tim's helmet in the previous strip.Oct 19, 2007
